BearTex® is is a 3-dimensional Abrasive consist of a non-woven web of nylon fibers, impregnated throughout with abrasive grain and bonded with synthetic resins. 4 Main application areas:
• Deburring to eliminate the consequences of mechanical processing. Remove burrs, radiusing and break sharp edges.
• Cleaning to remove any dirt, rust corrosion. Prepare surface prior to coating or welding.
• Blending to remove light weld, tool (+ handling) marks and flash while imparting a uniform finish
• Finishing to provide Surface roughness reduction, cosmetic finishes (satin or brushed), prep for polishing
Used in markets such as metal workers, aerospace, vehhicle manufacture, hand tool, welding, woodworking and plastics, ceramics, glass, SKI manufacturers. Have a range of benefits such as waterproof, washable, shaped to work piece, non-rusting, tear resistant, long lasting web, chemically resistant.
